Cameras can’t capture things perfectly, therefore working in the digital darkroom is something I find I need to do as it provides me with the best method of either restoring the original moment I captured a scene or to modify the scene to how I would have liked to have seen it in the first place.
A quote from a good friend of mine says it all: “Good photography is made by one who is able to extract the unconventional from the norm.” (Alex Triuzzi 2005).

I have complete control over the imagery I create through the use of my computer. Knowing this is not a substitute for taking bad photographs. There still has to be some level of skill and personal creativity to produce something good that can eventually be made in to something outstanding.
